Help us push to the end!

Climbing and hurting in a good way keeps us optimistic that we’ll make it to the end. After we take a short break in Yellowstone, we’ll head towards the final destination. Give us last cheers, more good vibes, words of wisdom, a good quote, or a smart a$$ comment. Help us push to the end! Thank you for all the love. We love you back.

P.S. Best story yet to come 😉

North Winds!

Despite strong, painful North winds we are still on route and approaching Yellow Stone. We are waking up every morning before the dawn and enjoying the magnificent scenery of Wyoming. Our signal is not great so it may be a few days until we can be in contact again.

Public orchard in Drake Park, Des Moines, IA

Optimistic Trees were invited to help plant a few trees with Leslie, a Trees Forever coordinator, and Dr. David Courard-Hauri, a professor from Drake University, at the Drake Park. A public orchard is not only pleasing to the eye, but serves as a food resource for the community. Dr. Courard-Hauri has been taking care of it and enjoying the community come together around the harvesting season. Leslie taught us how to properly plant a tree with a simple tip shown in the video. At the end, Nikola definitely didn’t miss his chance to try the products of labour. Cherries were delicious!
